Well, howdy cousin! Robert Trawick was my gggrandfather!

He was born in Canada, emigrated to AL at about age 17, married Caroline, had several kids, fought for Florida cavalry and Alabama infantry in the CW, then went home and had more kids (10 in all!)
His youngest, Jessie Pauline, married my ggrandfather, Jesse J. Jernigan, and had 2 kids, Pearce and Ethel.

That's about as far as I've gotten, genealogy in Canada is pretty rough.

I do know Robert's dad was born in France, and mother was born in England, but that's it.

Hope we can tie our lines together. There are so many Trawick descendants out there, I'm sure of it!

B!
