I have been looking in my information to find the name of the Silas Monroe Traylor that you cite. The youngest child that I have for Migeman B. Traylor is John Traylor who was born in 1835. You cite that Silas Monroe Traylor was born in 1856. Migeman B. Traylor and Lydia Lang Traylor were born in 1792 and 1794 respectively. I don't think it is likely that Silas Monroe is a son of Migeman and Lydia. There is another Migeman Buckley Traylor that I have found, however. I received a book that he wrote called "The Life of a Trader." It is fascinating! I don't know for sure, but I think that this second Migeman B. Traylor is the grandson of Migeman B. Traylor born 1792. I need to find that book so that I can confirm all of this.

Do you happen to have a listing for Silas Monroe Traylor's grandfather?
