James Traylor Bath Co., KY

I'm trying to fnd info on James Traylor, born abt. 1801, but I'm not sure if he was born in SC or NC. He married Deborah "Dovey" Traylor, January 14,1825 in Bath CO., KY. They moved to Greenup Co., KY in the early 1840's and he most likely died there before 1849. Deborah remarried to Guyan Wilson and on the 1850 Greenup, Co. census, shows three of James and Deborah's children living in Wilson household with Deborah; Nancy E.,John and William Traylor. I believe James and Deborah to be my 3rd great grandparents and the parents of my great-great grandfather, Nelson Traylor born 1832, in Bath Co., KY. Nelson's death certificate says his father was James Traylor born in NC, but I believe James might have been born in SC and the info is a mistake and has taken me in the wrong direction in my searching. Any info on this Traylor line would be greatly appreciated. My E-mail address is Screply2@cs.com.
Thanks,
Shirley
