Bill: And to further complicate matters I found Barnabus Traylor listed as a Phillip Traylor in the 1880 Pendleton County Ky census. The Phillip Traylor married to Nancy Sorrell was listed with five of his children and then Barnabus was listed as Phillip Traylor aged 54 with wife Adeline 49. Barnabus Traylor's wife was named Adeline Adams and she was born in PA. This is really clear to me that she was born in PA as were both of her parents and I cannot understand why nobody has ever bothered to look into her background, but I digress. I do not know who else this could be on this census other than Barnabus Traylor. Children George 16, Charles 11 and Artemisia 6 were also listed.
I looked up Henry Ducker who was married to Mary Elizabeth Traylor (daughter of Barnabus and Adeline and my g grandmother) and Mary listed the birthplace of her mother and father as PA. Supposedly her father was a Tillman Adams and Charlotte (maybe Boyd). I found this in information about the wife of Theodore Cummins. Very interesting but I cannot find Tillman anywhere. Pamela
