Traylor family in Alabama
Posted by: William G. Bates (ID *****0575) Date: February 05, 2003 at 18:11:34

I am doing some research of my families genealogy and have a J.L. Traylor that married Sarah "Sallie" J.G. Bates in Spalding Co, Ga on Jan 13, 1878. It is known that they traveled to Alabama some time shortly after their marriage since it is said that two of her brother moved in with them about two years later. We do not have the exact dates of either of he moves or even the exact place but they are reputed to have been living in the Trimble area of Cullman Co, Al when the brothers left home. I have a fair amout of data on the brothers from their marriages onward but little on Sarah and J.L. If anyone thinks they have any information, would appreciate an email. I am also inthe process of trying to build a Spreadsheet of the Cullman Co Cemeteries for research purposes. regards and che-ers
