LUCILE TRAYLOR ODOM passed away August 5, 2003. She was born December 9, 1909 in Conroe, Texas, the daughter of John Randolph Traylor and Mildred Bush Traylor. She obtained her Bachelor and Master degrees from Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Texas, and taught for many years in public and private schools. Her many hobbies included painting, creative writing and genealogy. Mrs. Odom is survived by daughter Gymme Odom Miele and son-in-law Angelo Miele, sister Virginia Traylor McGowen, niece Mildred Katheryn "Tat" Wanamaker, her husband Ray, their son and daughter-in-law Tommy and Kay Wanamaker and children Amanda, Jessica and Rebecca, nephew William R. "Bill" Bridges and his wife Susan and children Elizabeth, Jim, Balissa and Virginia "Ginnie", and many friends, including her dear friend Angelina Villanueva and family. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday August 9, 2003 at The Settegast-Kopf Co. Funeral Directors, with a private interment at Oakwood Cemetery in Huntsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
