Absolom Traylor 1806 (?) Louisiana

I am seeking information on Absolom (Absolum) Traylor, who migrated to southeast Louisiana (at that time a part of Spanish West Florida) in the 1st decade of the 19th century. He received (I am told) a Spanish landgrant there that was later confirmed after Spanish West Florida became a part of the state of Louisiana. He is my gggg grandfather, and the sire of most if not all SE Louisiana Traylors. US census records (1830)indicate his birth in Virginia, but my search ends there. His son Benjamin, grandson Syvester Gaston, Greatgrandson William Watterson, gg grandson Otis Galop, ggg grandson Leo are my direct ancestors. Thank you.
