Melvin Traylor and Samuel Traylor
Melvin was a banker in Chicago. His story about barefoot to riches was similar to the life story of Samuel. They were distant cousins, probably did not know each other until the 1930's.

These two famous Traylor boys were the ones billed $5,000 by the scoundrel Anjou for his scam, HISTORY OF THE TRAYLOR FAMILY. He was a bum. That was a lot of money in the 1930's. They had it, but they knew they had been had .... apparently no contract. They paid it. The Traylor line was "researched" - complete with forged references and a bogus connection to a real French family. - all by one Adolph Anjou.
