Edvena,
I know it has been a long time since you wnted to know about the Traylors' of Alabama. My gggrandmother was Martha Traylor from Calhoun County, Al. at Oak Level. Calhoun County is where Anniston is. My Martha was married to Joseph Lewis in 1860 and they had 3 kids I think, Elizabeth, Lloyd, and I think James{he must have died early}. She then married John L. Crider in CalhounCounty and then in the 1870 and 1880 census they were in Cherokee County,Al. Her parents were George W. and Nancy Traylor. They are listed in the 1860 census and right below them is Joseph and Martha. I forgot, Joseph died during the Civil War from disintery[misspelled I think}. Maybe you have found out more since your reguest in 2007.If you have, let me know we're probably related. You can email me personally at JoCriderGreen@yahoo.com
Thanks,
Jo
