Mr. Traylor,

First let me thank you sincerely for responding to my request for information about your Father. We have been unable to gather very much info about him, mostly because unlike enlisted men, there is no web site with year of birth and State so it is difficult.

We are interested in his ASN (Army Service No) being an Officer it would start with an O-******, his hometown before the war, his rank at wars end, and if he stayed, final rank, his date of birth and death, what city he died in, his final resting place (Cem)

What we have is, born '18, Alabama (sounds wrong already) and we need the Co or duty he was assigned to. You can also contribute any article of interest that you would like to, an Obit would be nice or Eulogy, a picture of him? We have a small web site at with the obits of thousands of men who served in these units.

We have a web site and will post all this info about your father and all the other boys that served for their grandchildren to research about their Granddads. The site will have room for pictures and Obits of each man. Its at < >

Thank you again for taking the time to respond,

Roger Eaton
