Only two children, both daughters, are mentioned in Edward Traylor's 1818 will. The 1830 Dinwiddie Co VA census shows Rosanna with 6 children under 15. There is also an 1830 Nottoway Co VA case, may actually be 1833, naming Rosanna as defendant, involving a dispute over the Traylor estate.

One daughter, Mary, was first married to Benjamin Harper with whom she had about 7 children, only one of whom was a son - he died young. She had another half dozen or so with her second husband.

Mary's will was probated in 1861 although there are those who claim she did not die until 1864. Apparently she is one of the many who was reburried at Butterwood Church in 1941 when Camp Pickett was constructed.
