Sharon - the Virginia (especcially S. Boston)Traynhams are well documented in the Traynhams and Descendants Reunion Book produced by the S. Carolina folks. The Traynham store (Cluster Springs) and "Miss Eller" and other aspects are well documented with newspaper clippings, etc.If you can go one generation back, it will probably place you in this book which was compiled in the early 90's.The Oak Ridge Cemetery in S. Boston also holds Traynhams.
Many of the Cluster Springs and S. Boston Traynhams are apparently from the Benjamin Vaughn Traynham line. There's a Traynham cemetery, as well - I think it's between county rd. 718 and 797. (These are accessed out of South Boston on Hwy 501 headed toward North Carolina, according to the map in the Traynham Reunion book... Keep posting here as you learn more and we'll try to help.
