Thanks for your additional information on Mary "Polly" Treadway Benson and Perry P. Benson.
I have "Polly" dying in that part of Carroll Co TN which was cut off from Davidson Co TN. so I'll re-check myself. Thanks.
I have Perry in Davidson > Carroll > Wilson Co TN but by 1840 (after "Polly" had died) he dropped down into either AL or MS where his brothers-in-law had moved [he's in the census]. He returned to TN after 1840. I knew that he had m2 Nancy Searcy Hill. Do you know the name that Perry's middle initial "P" was in reference to?
Do you know anything further on Polly's and Perry's son GEORGE WASHINGTON TREADWAY [the young man who was blinded by a well explosion]?
