Hi Dennis,

Here is more info for you. This is from The History of the Tredway Family, by William T. Tredway

F.W. Treadway dies in Hospital

Francis W. Treadway a leader in the business and social life of Cleveland, died yesterday in St. Luke's hospital. He was stricken Tuesday afternoon at a director's meeting of the Perfection Stove Company.

Heart disease was the cause of death.

Mr. Treadway was one of the influential members of the bar, but his interests were by no means confined to the legal profession. At one time he ranked as a major political figure and in later years was interested either as an officer or director of a dozen Cleveland firms and institutions.

He was born in New Haven, Conn., January 7, 1869. When he was 10, his father Augustin R. Treadway, moved to Cleveland and founded the Wilcox-Treadway Co., which later became the Peck, Stow, and Wilcox Co.

Francis Treadway attended Tremont grade school and West High School in Cleveland and Worcester Polythechnic institute. In 1892 he was graduated from Yale University law school. One of his classmates was William H. Marlatt, with whom he formed the partnership of Treadway and Marlatt in 1893.

There is more but deals with his life later. Thought I would show you the Marlatt connection.
