I am trying to find someone who can verify the name of the father of my gr gr grandfather - Loyd B. Treadaway - born in Anson County, NC in 1822 or 1825. A researcher in my family (now deceased) insisted that it was Daniel Treadaway, Jr. (married to Elizabeth Stegall) and that is what I beieve. The Treadway Web says that Loyd's father is William. This is difficult to believe since the dates (birth dates) between Loyd and William is only 14 years.do Loyd B. Treadaway died on Jan 22, 1862 during Civil War in Culpeper Station, VA and is buried there. His wife - Martha C. Russell Treadaway - is buried in Columbus, GA near the Treadaway family plot where my grandparents and great grandparents are buried. ANY info would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
