Look to 1790 Burke Co NC census -- John Lykins (Likens/Larkins/Lekins) -- lives near William, Robert [m Nancy Lynch] & Aaron (sic) [m Eleanor "Nelly" Bounds] Treadway. The William Finley listed is married to Nancy Treadway.
The female in John Lykins household is Mary Treadway, by whom he had a son : JESSE TREADWAY.
John Lykins returned to the VA (the part which became WV) by about 1800. Mary Treadway went with, or followed, Lykins there.
Jesse Treadway can be found living in the VA home of John Lykins.
John Lykins died in, then, VA leaving a will.
Jesse Treadway married (I'm thinking her name was Mahala Johnson) --- at any rate, their first son was named JOHN LYKINS TREADWAY. They had several more children. You will find this family in the Wood Co (VA) WV census.
The rest is just a matter of researching the lines.
