I am searching for info on the parents of Hardy SMITH who married Elinor TREADWAY in Christian Co., KY. His parents were Abram and Penelope (Cooke) SMITH. Also seeking info on Elinor's parents Aaron and Elinor TREADWAY. Both families probably came to KY by way of NC.
Hardy and Elinor had 8-9 children. Hardy died about 1848 in Trigg Co., KY.
I descend from their son Firman's daughter Emma.
