I'm looking for any information on the family of Lewis John Tredway who was born, lived and died in Parkersburg, Wood County, West Virginia.

Lewis John Tredway, son of Henry and Eliza Ann (Foley)Tredway, was born 17 Aug 1839 in Parkersburg and died there 02 Jul 1915, age 75. Lewis was a Civil War veteran. He was a drayman/teamster. He married Kathryn "Kate" Ingersoll 13 Jan 1870 in Parkersburg.

Kathryn "Kate" Ingersoll, daughter of Francis Montgomery and Elizabeth (Haines) Ingersoll, was born 10 Dec 1850 in Sandusky, Erie Co., OH and died 10 Mar 1923 in Parkersburg, age 72.

Lewis and Kate were parents of five children (I'd REALLY like to know more about the children and grandchildren):

Belle Elizabeth Tredway, born 16 Nov 1870 in Parkersburg.

Frank Curtis Tredway, born 16 Mar 1873 in Parkersburg. He married (1) Unknown. Frank married (2) Laura W. Ernest.

Guy Gould Tredway, born 27 Mar 1877 in Parkersburg. He married Mamie or Nannie Taylor circa 1899. They were parents of at least three children: Guy L. Tredway, born circa 1905, Richarn N. Tredway, born circa 1907 and Harold E. Tredway, born circa 1912.

Edward Augustus Tredway, born 03 Feb 1879 in Parkersburg and died there 18 Oct 1884, age 5.

Hazel Kirk Tredway, born 02 Mar 1883 in Parkersburg. Hazel married Mr. Dunbarger. They had at least two children: Elizabeth Dunbarger, born circa 1903 and Kathryn Dunbarger, born circa 1905.

I'm looking forward to hearing from anybody who knows anything about this family.

Sincerely,

Terri Mulliken Allen
