Hi Telena, Just back from a road trip and began checking my messages. Thanks for your patience. I try to research ALL Treadway's (et. al.), in all states and other countries. If you haven't checked the courthouse records in Beuna Vista GA for any records of your ancestors you should make that your first priority. Was your great grandfather a "Bishop", as in the ministry, or is his first name Bishop? If he was a minister there should be church records in the vicinity where he pastored. There will probably be marriage certification there too. What time span are we talking about in your search? Your great grandmother -- if in the 1800's -- was probably listed under a name spelling which may not appear the same as her real name. She could have been listed in the census under a nickname, for instance; or she could have been a widow Treddway when she married your great grandfather. If you have access to Ancestry.com, or some other subscription census service, you can try to find her by searching under her first, or middle, name with different spellings. [ie: Mariah, Maria, Marie, et. al.] Let me know if I can be of further assistance. Claudia Notify Administrator about this message?
