Dear Nancy,
You may have already looked at some of the other Treaster postings and found your Catherine Shout/Shaut. Our line is through
John Treaster b. 1760 in Berks County PA but he stayed in PA, moving with his parental family to near Selinsgrove on the susquahanna river and later to western Snyder
County at Bannerville. Our family people stayed there in that area until about 1884 when William R. Treaster moved to Mitchell Co. KS.
Some of the other Treaster lines did move
to Ohio and at least one to Kentucky. I have seen the Catherine Shout/Shaut name so
you should be able to find something.
You can contact me at mltreaster@aol.com if
you wish. Good luck.
Melba L. Treaster
