Deb: Our William Rash's middle name was actually a diminutive of his original name which was Horatio. This change confused PA
genealogists for a number of years. He was listed in his birthyear of 1850 as
William H. Treaster 1850
Horatio Treaster 1870
William R. Treaster 1880 and later
We know this to be one and the same person
because other family names fit.
Sorry we can't help. I had also looked at
Rash as a surname when I first researched this family.
Melba L. Treaster
