Hans Martin Treaster - pre-America?

Hans Martin Treaster I - (prior to his arrival in Philadelphia, Sept. 12, 1734, on the "St. Andrew Galley") may have originated from Brandenburg, Prussia. Just a hunch at this point. Looking for earlier records on the origins of the Treasters. Would love to trace the family back to the period prior to arriving here in America. Possible mid-15th century connection to a land baron? Austrian?Any information or ideas about this? Thanks!
