I have not kept up with internet genealogy much in the last few months because of computer problems, now remedied, I hope. Missed this item before.
You will not find William Rash Treaster (our g-grandfather)on the 1850 Census listed as such. He was just a few months old and was listed in Union (Snyder)Co. PA in West Beaver township with his parents, William and Susannah (Kemmerling) Treaster. The middle name, Rash, (or R. as on the 1880 PA Census)is a diminutive of Horatio (1870 Census with Daniel Baker family in Mifflin Co. PA) We know this is the same person.
Your Treaster Valley line is familiar to me. I have met
Richard Dick Treaster of Milroy PA who is also of that line, descended from Samuel Treaster also.
