skip, i enjoyed your site very much. i dabble a bit in treaster and fitzgerald research..fun. it hasn't been a month ago that i was visiting my aunt, ethel mcintyre (89 ys.) She told me that she had heard there is a Treaster Mountain somewhere in Pa. and it grows blueberries. She thought that wonderful, since as a little girl she too enjoyed picking and eating blueberries in these woods and hills of mo. where she was born and raised--just like the folks back home. thank you for the wonderful pictures of the mountain. she will be delighted to hear about it. she is the gt.grand daughter of catherine margaret treaster b.1833, Centre co. pa., who married james a. fitzgerald of centre co. pa. they moved to mo. in the early 1850's and settled in Iron Co. where i was born and raised. Again, she and I thank you, skip.
