My late husband was a descendant of Hans Martin Treaster who immigrated to what is now Berks Co. PA in 1734. William H. (Rash) Treaster (g-grandfather of my husband) married Sophia Baker, daughter of Daniel Baker of Union/Snyder Co, and later Mifflin County. I am looking for information about Daniel Baker's father John Baker who was buried in Vira Presbyterian Church cemetery (died in 1871) I know that John Baker was married three times but need more information about him. One of his wives was a "Mrs. Row(e)." I believe there also was a Reitz connected to the family also, but need to look up my info on this.
Treaster Valley is located mostly in Mifflin Co. PA with its entry way just outside of Milroy PA. The family of a George Treaster, probable son of Michael Treaster (son of Hans Martin Treaster,) settled in that valley. Our Treasters settled in West Beaver/Beaver area of Union/Snyder Co.
I would like to hear more from you and I may have some info related to your Delilah Treaster.
You may e-mail me directly at
