Rebecca Treat

I am descended from Honour Treat Deming (b. 1616). I have found information that she had a sister, Rebecca (b. about 1624), who married a Richard Smith (b. about 1617).

I am also descended from Lydia Standish, whose grandparents are Richard Smith (b. 1589) and Rebecca Treat (b. 1595). The dates given with this information do not correspond with those I have for Honour's sister, so they cannot be the same people unless my information is wrong (which it very well could be).

Are there two Rebecca Treats who each married a Richard Smith? Can someone tell me how Lydia's grandmother fits in with the Treat line?

Thank you very much for your help!

Jean Johnson
