Part of a newpaper article.
Unknown paper, Unknown date
*Mrs. Jane Treat Simpson was born in Arcade, N.Y., a hundred and one years age, (b. abt 1834) and is proud of such a rich heritage in length of years.
She was the daughter of Fanny and Russell Treat, and her mother lived to be nearly a hundred years old. She lived on a farm for awhile and then moved to Michigan, but didn't stay long.
*Mrs. Simpson has been twice married, first to David Matson, of Alfred Centre, N.Y. Her second husband was Charles Simpson, of Watkins, N.Y.
(From a notice of family attending her funeral)
*One sister, Mrs. Caroline Utter, of Owego, also survives.
(Jane's Granddaughter told me her name was Joanna Jane, she is usually referred to as Jane. One census list her as Anna J. Does anyone have Russell and Fanny Treat with dau. Joanna or Jane, and Caroline?)
