Richard Treat was not the Gov. His son Robert was the Gov. of CT, 1683-95. I don't know where Matthias fits in -- I don't have him in any of my information. Both Richard and Alice died in Wethersfield (Richard in 1668/69, Alice after 1670). Maybe Richard and Matthias were brothers?

What other info do you have on Matthias? I have more on Richard (mostly descendants, only very sketchy on ancestors). Let's share what we've got -- maybe we can figure out where Matthias belongs!
