Mary Ann Treat Finley was my gr-gr grandmother. Their youngest son, Dorsey Carter Finley married Flora Smith 21 APR 1897 and produced four children - 1. Gertrude 2. Edith 3. Everett 4. Ruth (my maternal grandmother). The Finley family has two streets named after them in manchester, CT: Carter Street and Finley Street.
Flora Smith had a sister named Flossie and a brother George who went to Alaska during the Gold Ruch of 1898. He was a mail carrier for the town of Manchester.
Do you have any info on the ancestors of Mary Ann Treat -parents, grandparents.
The info you sent was very helpful.
Thanks -
Mrs. Barbara Morgan
