David TREAT Johnson

I am looking for more information on the family of David Treat Johnson of Ansonia, CT b. 27 Mar 1819 d. 19 Jul 1890 married (date unknown) to Sarah LINDLEY b. 28 Apr 1820 d. 25 Dec 1889.

I have no idea where the middle name Treat came from but my guess is that it's derived from the maiden name of a female relative. The alternative could be that it's the name of a good friend of the family. David's parents were Russell Johnson and Hannah Peck but I have no names for any of his other female ancestors yet.

David and Sarah's children were:
Edwin M JOHNSON (b. 15 Nov 1847 d. 14 Jan 1935)
Charles Lewis JOHNSON (b. 15 Mar 1850 d. 8 Oct 1901)
David Treat JOHNSON Jr. (b. 23 Jan 1856 d. 19 Jan 1929)
Frederick C JOHNSON (b. 20 Feb 1859 d. 24 Dec 1896)
Sarah E JOHNSON (b. 10 Apr 1861 d. 24 Nov 1937)
Franklin Russell JOHNSON (b. 24 Oct 1864 d. 19 Jul 1939) m. Ida Jeannette COE

Any information that you can provide will be greatly appreciated!
