According to "Families of Early Milford, CT" by Susan Woodruff Abbott, (pp. 127 & 128, soft cover), Sarah Treat - b. 6 June, 1699, d. 12 November, 1748 - was the daughter of Joseph Treat and Sarah Bryan. (On page 769, it states the name of Sarah's mother as "Frances Bryan", b. 13 February, 1668 and d. 21 September, 1703.) Sarah's father, Captain Joseph Treat, was the son of Governor Robert Treat and Jane Tapp. Joseph was born 14 September, 1662 and died 9 August, 1721.

Sarah Treat was the second wife of Richard Bryan. He had married 1). Mehitable Clark, d/o Samuel Clark and Mehitable Phippen, and 3). Sarah Merwin, d/o John Merwin and Hannah Platt.

Hope this helps,
Jim Larson
