Parents of JANE FREEMAN b Truro, MA 1732 w. of WESTBROOK BERRY and JOHN CROCKER

Jane Freeman was born at Truro, MA. Her dob (by tradition) was 7 Nov 1732 but I have been unable to pin down her parentage. Many uncited genealogical records place her as daughter of JONATHAN FREEMAN (son of Constant Freeman and Jane Treat)and REBECCA BINNEY (dau of Samuel Binney and Rebecca Vickers/Vickery).

Jonathan Freeman and Rebecca Binney were married at Truro, MA 6 Oct 1731.

On 23 Jan 1755,Jane married Westbrook Berry at Scarborough, Maine and they emigrated northward, being among the founders of what was to become Machias, Washington, ME. Westbrook was born 16 Dec 1734 at Scarborough, and died before 1768 at Machias.

She married second about 1768 John Crocker of Scarborough.

Does anyone have sourced information on Jane's parents or even rule out Jonathan and Rebecca (Binney) Freeman as her parents?

Thanks in advance for any help given,
Barbara Hanscom Stuart
