TREAT and TROTT what is the connection?
Posted by: Bonnie Date: December 02, 1998 at 14:27:04

I was born TROTT. My Grandfather was Charles Henry Trott, born approx 1882-86, in Brisol, UK.. moved to Canada, Married Mary Agnes Nugent, they had 14 children,he died in New Brunswick Canada, March 17, 1947. Now if everything were so black and white as the real world should be, I would be able to find my GGrandfater (said to be John)and his father etc. But here is the catch.. It's seems as though My Charles Henry TROTT didn't exsist before he came to Canada. After a couple of years of research on this one man, I'm at a loss.. My last hope is that someone researching TREAT has lost along the lines a Charles Henry TREAT.. well? any takers? I know the names throughout history were interchangeable..
Even if you cannot help me with my grandfather, I would appreciate anyone that could tell me how the names got switched back and forth through the years...
Any and all responses will be greatly appreciated..
thank you
Bonnie
