Obituary of Mrs. Emma Kirkham Schroer Houston Roderick
Mrs. Emma Roderick
Mrs. Emma Kirkham Roderick, 67, 606 7th Street, died this morning at sunny Rest Sanitarium following an extended illness.
Born at Wausau, Wis., July 6, 1873.Mrs. Roderick came to Rockford in 1902. Her husband, Charles, preceded her in death.surviving are three daughters, Mrs. John Raymond Wolfe, Houston, Tex., Mrs. Lillian Smith, Meridian, Miss., and Mrs. Ervin Huston of Rockford; five grandchildren and several brothers and sisters living in Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Thursday at the McAllister-Julian Funeral Home, 304 North 5th Street, (Rockford, Ill.).Dr. O. Garfield Beckstrand, associate pastor of Trinity Lutheran church, will officiate and burial will be in Starke Union Cemetery.
The name Treptowwas originally"Trebtow"?
