Trevino Coat of Arms
I am aware of the Trevino coat of arms of 5 blue stars arranged in a square with one in the middle on a yellow shield bordered in yellow.I found that this was attributed to a certain marquis.
However, I have seen a description of an alternate one in a spanish heraldry book at Pasadena Library, CA.
This other coat of arms was thus:
Gold Castle with two towers - each tower had a silver eagle atop it.On a red shield with a border of 7 dogs with red collars.Has anyone seen this?
Additionally, I saw, on a poster in the mall (not a good sign, eh? :), a red shield with two gold castles on it, with a border of gold chain and featured several moor's heads on it.
I am just wondering if anyone has ever seen alternate versions of the coat of arms - I will try to find the name of the book where i found the description in spanish of the one with the 7 dogs.
Thanks
