George Albert Foxwell and Ida Mae Trice were my ggrandparents also. George A. Foxwell was born in Dorchester County Maryland at Elliott. I do not have Ida's birth place. I do have notes pertaining to her having three siblings, Albert, Willy and Eva, all the children of Captain Jim Trice, mother unknown.

PLEASE NOTE!! The source of this info for Ida's family was an interview with George and Ida's last living child in the mid 1980's. I do not have any documetation to comfirm it.

The children of George and Ida were:

James Elwood Foxwell, Bertha Mae Foxwell, Anna Leona Foxwell, Florence Ellen Georgia Foxwell, Eva Foxwell, William Edgar Foxwell, Myrtle Foxwell and John Lewis Melvin Foxwell.

James E. was my grandfather and he married Hattie Christmas Trice. Florence married Benjamin Trice. This Trice family can be found referenced in F. Edward Wright's book, "The Decendents of Caleb Wright".

I will be happy to exchange info with anyone who can add or correct anything here. You can contact me at
