My research has been on the TICE name. I have been able to trace the family back to a Harvey Tice who was born in Upson Co, GA, married a Nancy James in Upson Co., moved to Macon, where he died and is buried. Nancy moved on to Columbus, GA, to live with her daughter, died there and is buried in Columbus. I could never find anything else about Harvey until I happened to find him listed as Harvey TRICE in Upson Co, in the marriage records. After typing in the Trice name, I found him again, but I also found hundreds of Trices! Does anyone out there know who his parents were? Do you know why he dropped the "r" and became Harvey Tice? Harvey is my gggrandfather. My father was Dexter Tice of Phenix City, Alabama.
