Trice NC to FL -- Abner, Mann, Ezekiel?

I am looking for the parents of Abner Trice, b. about 1818 in NC. I suspect him to be the son of Ezekiel Trice, who seems to have left NC by 1830 and may be the Ezekiel Trice who turns up with Henry Trice [brother?] in Decatur Co. GA in 1840. Are they brothers? Are they related to Mann Trice--perhaps brothers? Are there two Mann Trices? One was b. about 1811, presumably in Orange County. Is this the same one in Gadsden Co Fl in 1840? [If so, they misrecorded his wife's age, which is always possible.]
Can anyone help me confirm or reject any of this?
If anyone has Olive Lynn Trice Jackson's The Trices of North Carolina, Georgia and Alabama, could you poke around in it and see if it has anything relevant for me?
