Hi David,
Frances Elizabeth Trice was baptised 11 December 1825 in Maidstone, daughter of a chair maker from Thurnham, James Trice (1795-1826) and Mary Ann Paul (8 April 1800 - 6 July 1874)(later Mrs Mary Ann Little). Frances' mother Mary Ann was only married to James Trice for 4 years 1822-1826, and then she married John Little in 1841. Frances had one older sister, Mary Ann who was the witness of her marriage to Jesse Honey. I am descended from their daughter, Frances Elizabeth Mary Ann Honey (17 July 1851-3 Dec 1887). Jesse died in 1878, and Frances (the elder) married Wiiliam Nash in 1889 (died 1897), and Frances died 14 Feb 1898, aged 72.
Frances Elizabeth Mary Ann married William King in 1878, and they had 4 children that I know of: Fanny (1878-1948), William (1881-1952), Alfred (1885-1947) and the youngest, Albert (1887-1949), who was my great grandfather. Albert was only 2 weeks old when his mother died from TB, and the widowed William used family and friends to help bring up his children. My great grandfather Albert was adopted by his mother's sister, Mrs Amelia Binskin (formerly Honey)(died 1921) and her husband Harry Binskin (died 1942).
Albert's daughter Amelia Anna Maria (1914-1983) was my grandmother.
