I have been researching Triggs Genealogy now for over 30 years and still having difficulty trying to find the names of Thomas and William Triggs wives and parents.
Thomas and William Triggs were brothers born in Virginia, Thomas about 1773, exact place of birth unknown.
About 1802, the Triggs brothers are living in Scioto County, Ohio. William died about 1806 and his children were left orphans in the care of his brother Thomas. William's son William Jr., married Mary Malone daughter of Richard and Susannah (Weaver) Malone. Thomas' son William married Susannah Malone, sister of Mary (Malone) Triggs.
Most of William's family remained in Ohio, while Thomas Triggs descendants migrated west to Hendricks County, Indiana and finally settling in Iowa where many descendants remain to this present day.
Would like to hear from any and all Triggs interested in exchanging information. I especially would like to find out information on the names of Thomas and William Triggs parents and who Thomas and William married.
