Hi

I live in South Africa. I am keen to trace my roots. The only information I have is that My great Grandfather was originally a Triggs and that he was born in Antony in Devon. I have also learnt that he was a carpenter on Lord Nelsons Ship. He Absconded went to America Changed his name to Trigg and later ended up in South africa. I also learnt that my grand father was born from his second wife in south africa. My great grandfathers names as I understand were Samuel Ernest Triggs. I do not know if this is correct as my grandfather would never talk to us about his family.

Thank You
