Hi not connected to this family I think my my g grandfather was a Triggs 1848 either Hampshire or Surrey.

I have found Triggs in Ringmore in 1841
Agnes born 1816
James 1801 with his family
William and Jane 1781
Philip can't remember the year but about 1815
so I would think a strong possiblity of a connection there somewhere.

You could ring phone or email the Devon records office or the family history group for Devon, they may have transcripts for that parish and if not you may be able to get the fiche from the records office for that time and take it to your local family history centre to view (but ask first they are usually very good about it)

There are two Sarah Rendle's deaths in Plymouth,
Sarah Rendle 1872 June qtr 5b 171 born abt 1804
Sarah Goss Rendle 1869 Dec qtr 5b 222 born abt 1804
There may be more as they are transcibing still
Freebmd are transcribing the index to view free and Ancestry also have the same index I usually view both as I notice some from freebmd went missing and have still not returned.
Another site to watch is Parish clerks, they have asked people to adopt a paish if they have any information and put that information on site, Dorset is the best but others have started. I am hoping to be able to help with my parishes with the information I have collected over the years. Good Luck
