Hi Margaret,
I am a Triggs descendant from Irish Roots, my Great Grandfather was Edmund Triggs born 1878 he was English from Lambeth, but he went to Ireland with the Army and was in the Royal Medical Corp and Married Margaret Murphy born 1880 whose father was John Murphy a stonecutter and they were Irish Roman Catholics. they had lots of children

John Joseph 1899 Tipperary
Edmund Triggs 1902 Ireland
George Albert Henry 1903 Victoria street, cork (my Grandad)
Patricia Margaret Violet 1904 Limerick died age 14 in Blean Canterbury kent
William (twin) Kinsdale,Cork 1905 died age 5 weeks
Ellen (twin)Kinsdale, County Cork Died age 6 weeks
Mary Triggs, Kinsdale 1906 Died age 3 months
Francis Valentine 1908 Thurles, Tipperary
William Denis Valentine, Newbridge Kildare, Died 3 months
Christina Triggs 1910 Dublin died age 7 months
Gerard Morris Triggs born ?
Eileen Triggs born 1914 Romford Essex emigrated to Australia,
did find a couple more triggs familys in Ireland doing my research but there were not many in Ireland as they originally came from Liskeard, Cornwall.
