Hi Sharon, the answer to your questions is yes. William Triggs, who died in Hendricks County, Indiana 1850 is the son of Thomas Triggs. William's son Davd Marshall Triggs is my maternal great-great grandfather. William married Susannah Malone, daughter of Richard Malone and Susannah Weaver. Both Thomas and Richard served in the War of 1812 from Ohio. Both are from Virginia. Richard from Londoun County, Virginia. Thomas we believe came from Berkeley County, Virginia, now West Virginia. There seems to be two Jacob S. Triggs. I originally thought he might be the son of William and Susannh (Malone) Triggs, but not positively sure now. The other Jacob was the son of John Triggs. So we will have to sit down and discuss this more, to see if we can find the right parents for him. Yes, John Triggs who married Mary Frances Marker is my maternal grandmother's uncle.
