Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Well Dennis after I got my feet wet I figured out the same thing and evidently I'm part of those still lurking about. My grandfather was Harley Ellis Triggs son of John Triggs son of David Marshall Triggs. I'm still new at this but enjoying the hunt and education as I go. Documentation on David Marshall Triggs seems to difficult to come by but I'm not giving up. I visit Iowa every year and have one day will come across the right connection.
