Hi, Jenny;
We've communicated before; I'm a grandson of Jacob J. Triggs, and great-grandson of David Marshall Triggs. I too have searched for David and Maria, but have concluded that they probably drifted away from Lucas County before passing on. I live in Virginia, and have only rare opportunities to visit Iowa (my birth state). If you visit there each year, you may want to inquire in Palo Alto County. Several of the Triggs brothers, including my grandfather Jacob, settled there upon leaving Lucas County. A D. M. Triggs was listed as a farmer in Palo Alto county (Ayrshire) in 1895. We have all the birth, death and marriage records from the Lucas County Gen. society, and none of them provide a clue as to the fate or whereabouts of the Triggs family. Dennis Simpson is perhaps the most knowledgeable source on this subject, so stay in touch with him. We'll await your discoveries, and wish you good hunting.
Bill
