The person who owns the site is, I believe, also a descendant of Owen.
William Sr. and Jr. are listed as members of the South Fork Baptist Church in 1852.There is also an entry dated October 29, 1853 noting a 'grievance' between William and Owen.I have heard undocumented stories that it involved the theft or shooting of livestock.
Where did you get your information on Samuel?The often-repeated story is that his parents married in 1741 in Boston.I believe all of the other Trivettes who fought in the revolution came from the large Trevett clan that started in the Boston area in the mid-1600's.This Samuel's unit, the 2nd Virgina Regiment, was on loan to the Continental Army and served with Washington at Valley Forge.
