The information I have is as follows:Samuel, was killed during the Revolutionary War in 1778.Samuel's wife, Elizabeth moved to what is now Watauga County, NC with their two sons Richard and John.I also have this info: Samuel entered the army 26 Nov 1776 in PA.He served in Captain Marquis Calmer's company, 2nd VA Regiment, commanded by Alexander Spottswood and Colonel Christain Febeher.He was listed on the payroll October 1778, and was killed later that year.
