Hi, my name is Michael Digney, my mother was Mary Trodden who sadly passed away last year. I think that makes us cousins.

I tried researching my family tree a long time ago but came up against a brick wall on my fatherís side. He was an orphan from an early age and trying to discover anything about his family proved very difficult.

I want to start it up again and found you on this site via Google. I recently got a picture of our great grandfather Edward who died in 1920 and some information regarding him. My sister found it in a book. I can scan it and send it to you if you pass me your email address.

If you have any information regarding the Trodden's, like dates, jobs etc I would be grateful if you could pass them to me.

The same goes for anybody else reading this. I would like to start looking at my Trodden line to see if I can get a bit further than my Digney line.

Thanks, michaeldigney@yahoo.co.uk
