I have launched a new geographic DNA project. It is called, "The Oriel Septs of Ireland."
Because the surname Trodden and Trudden have been designated as being mainly of the oriel (O Treodain in Gaelic), persons who carry this surname are eligible to join the Oriel Septs Project.
If you have already been Y-DNA tested at FTDNA, you can join at no charge. If you have not, you may join from our web site, and receive our group's discount on a Y-DNA test kit.

Or you can google FTDNA, and put Oriel_Septs in the search field, or the surnames Trodden or Trudden, and you will find our project listed there.
